This cosy ground floor annex adjoins our farmhouse and has its own private patio and entrance.
The hallway has two steps leading down to a small lobby off which is the bathroom (bath and electric shower over the bath). Two steps up from the lobby is the bright and airy studio living room. A lace curtain separates the sleeping area, with a 4ft 6in canopied four-poster bed with electric blanket, from the sitting area, giving each a feeling of both space and privacy. Two steps down from the sitting area lead to a simple kitchen/breakfast room. The kitchen is well-equipped with gas cooker, small larder fridge and microwave oven. The living room has a colour digital freeview television and an electric fire.
Oil-fired central heating (controlled from our farmhouse) is available all year, subject to a small extra charge from May to September. The bedroom has an electric convector heater.
Rowan is not suitable for children. Duvets and linen are provided, towels may be hired.
One or two well-behaved dogs are welcome. |
